          (ie. calculator) which has some functions rarely found on any other


GP        Pari-1.35 calculator. This is an ST release of a well-written
          calculator program by some nice French guys who released it PD.
          Basically, it is an infinite-precision calculator which can compute
          a lot of esotheric functions.


LPSOLVEB  Linear Programing Solving version 1ES by M.R.C.M. Berkelaar.  UNIX
          programmer's manual. The linear programming problem can be formulated
          as: Solve: A.x >= V1, with V2.x maximal. A is a matrix, x a vector
          of variables, V1 a vector called the right hand side, and V2 a vector
          specifying the objective function. This program solves problems of
          this kind.

MATHSYS   MathsCSYS Formulae Tester version by Brian Duff.  This program is
          designed to help remember all those nasty formulae you have to know
          for Math Exams.  It is specifically written to cover the Syllabus of
          the Scottish Certificate Of Sixth Year Studies Paper I material,
          though should be fairly applicable to an A-Level or equivalent
          course.  Freeware!


POW_CALC  Scientific Calculator by M. Weller.  This public domain calculator
          offers a vast array of features that make it an extremely powerful
          and useful tool.  The documentation is in German.
